Celebrating 80 years!
APRIL
Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute at Meadville Medical Center (MMC)
2025 marks our 80-year anniversary! We have a lot planned to celebrate throughout the year – one of which is an $800 monthly donation to a local charity chosen by our employees. In April, we presented the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute at Meadville Medical Center (MMC) with an $800 check. The Institute provides cutting-edge cancer treatment right here in Meadville with the latest technology and physician specialists available. Maddie Carver and her brother Gabe chose this non profit to honor their grandmother, who passed away from cancer. Both Maddie & Gabe are Co-Op students with the Crawford County Career & Technical Center and will be joining us full time upon graduation this May. Pictured with Maddie & Gabe is Willow Peterman, our President.
MARCH
Crawford County Humane Society
In March, we donated $800 to the Crawford County Humane Society. Jenn Woodward, our shipping/receiving specialist, chose this local charity because it is where she adopted her beloved black lab mix, Baxter. Since 1952, thanks to local generous support, the Humane Society has been able to provide quality care and find loving, permanent homes for adoptable pets.
And boy do we love our pets!
We had a “Cutest Pet” contest in March as well, click here to view all of our employee entries.
FEBRUARY
The ARC of Crawford County
February’s local charity was picked by Jasmine, who works in shipping and the $800 check was presented by Bill Starn. The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual & developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion & participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. We’re told this donation is going to help fund an upcoming trip to see a baseball game and we can’t wait to see all the smiles and pictures!
