This month, several employees chose the WCJ Ranch as our monthly charity. WCJ Ranch is a non-profit, regulated hunting ground located in Richmond Township, Crawford County, providing regulated shooting grounds for Veterans with disabilities FOR FREE. To quote the late Charlie Schmitz, WCJ Ranch founder, “We’ve had the chance to meet a lot of good men and women who were disabled very young in life, some of them through war… so we opened a facility that would allow them a place to come and hunt. For the most part, they would have been limited to hunting from their vehicle. Here, they are outside where they can get the feel and smell of the outdoors.”
