We have a strong team of nearly 70 employees and an average tenure rate of 11 years. Our management team boasts a total of 236 years of combined experience- ranging from 9 to 49 years.
We have the equipment, experience, and knowledge to make the most challenging parts efficiently.
Clay Dawson, Estimator & Process Analyst
Clay has been with us since August 2021. He is responsible for quoting, job planning & setup, working with customers to resolve concerns & job requirements, and identifying new business opportunities.
He currently holds the Chair position for the Academic Outreach committee for the Northwestern PA chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA). This committee serves to plan, organize, assist, and volunteer in various events, activities, plant tours, etc. to educate elementary through high-school level students on the possibilities that manufacturing has to offer.
Outside of work Clay enjoys playing golf, hunting, and building up his home gym.
Ben Rockwell, CNC Lathe Apprentice
Ben has been with the Starn family of companies since 2018, where he started as a co-op student in high school. Ben’s first experience with manufacturing was with our sister company, Mecal By Starn. He would assist with order processing, pulling parts, and various quality assurance processes.
As a CNC Lathe Apprentice, he most enjoys learning how to efficiently manufacture challenging parts at tight tolerances and finding new ways to do things.
Outside of work Ben enjoys to golf, and is an avid hunter where he especially enjoys waterfowl hunting.
